A core Man Therapy module focuses on anger, helping recipients to understand its causes and associated mitigating and potentiating factors, as well as teaching recipients accessible, easy-to-implement anger mitigation strategies, such as cognitive retraining and paced breathing. Participants will be given a list of content regarding anger to view and interact with in the Man Therapy website and encourages to explore the website further. They will then review and interact with materials for at least 20 minutes and up to 45 minutes in a single session.",[9],[25],{"name":26,"affiliation":27,"role":28},"Ian Stanley, PhD","University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",[30,35],{"name":31,"role":32,"phone":33,"phoneExt":18,"email":34},"Dr. Ian Stanley PhD","CONTACT","720-848-6777","emed_ManTherapy@cuanschutz.edu",{"name":36,"role":32,"phone":33,"phoneExt":18,"email":34},"Julia Finn, MPH",[38],{"facility":39,"status":18,"city":40,"state":41,"zip":42,"country":43,"countryCode":44,"cosmosGeoPoint":45,"geoPoint":50,"contacts":51},"Fort Carson","Colorado Springs","Colorado","80913","United States","US",{"type":46,"coordinates":47},"Point",[48,49],-104.82136,38.83388,{"lat":49,"lon":48},[52],{"name":36,"role":32,"phone":33,"phoneExt":18,"email":53},"emed_stanleylab@cuanschutz.edu",{"type":55,"investigatorFullName":18,"investigatorTitle":18,"investigatorAffiliation":18,"oldNameTitle":18,"oldOrganization":18},"SPONSOR",[57],{"name":58,"class":59},"United States Department of Defense","FED","100637110",false,"NCT07604701","Examining the Efficacy of the Man Therapy Platform in Reducing Problematic Anger Among Military Service Members With and Without a TBI History","Examining the Efficacy of the Man Therapy Platform in Reducing Problematic Anger Among Military Service Members With and Without a TBI History: A Randomized Controlled Trial","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Military service member\n* Identify as male\n* Aged 18+ years\n* Positive problematic anger screen (DAR-3 \\>8)\n* Ability to read, write, and speak English\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Active psychosis or acute mania necessitating clinical intervention\n* Acute thoughts of self- or other-harm necessitating imminent clinical intervention (e.g., hospitalization)\n* Unable to provide informed consent","MALE","18 Years",{"count":69,"type":70},226,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[73],"NA","The goal of this randomized controlled trial is to determine if an interactive digital solution, Man Therapy, reduces indices of problematic anger in male military service members who screen positive for problematic anger.\n\nThe man questions this study aims to answer are:\n\n* Does Man Therapy reduce indices of problematic anger?\n* Does Man Therapy reduce psychosocial correlates of anger?\n\nResearchers will also examine if the effects of those aims differ based on a participant's history of a mild TBI, the mechanism of a primary mild TBI, and\u002For the number of mild TBIs.\n\nResearchers will compare Man Therapy to a waitlist control.
