Persistent pain for at least 3 months after herpes zoster infection. Only patients who sign the informed consent form will be included.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\nContraindications to taVNS such as:\n\n1. pregnancy;\n2. active implants (e.g., pacemakers, cochlear implants) or brain shunts;\n3. previous neurological or psychiatric diagnoses;\n4. history of addiction or substance abuse;\n5. history of trauma and\u002For brain surgery;\n6. cardiac disease;\n7. acute or chronic use of medications and\u002For illicit drugs;\n8. susceptibility to headaches and seizures. Severe cognitive impairment. Other chronic pain conditions.","ALL","35 Years","65 Years",{"count":18,"type":19},34,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[22],"NA","The purpose of this study is to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) in the treatment of patients with post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN). Participants will receive taVNS in addition to standard care.
