The patient has exhausted all conventional therapies, both surgical and medical, at considerable detriment to their quality of life. The treatment involves 2 intra-articular injections of bacteriophages into the joint and surrounding area and 14 days of intravenous phage therapy. The goal is to eliminate the infection and prevent further complications, providing a potential new treatment avenue for patients with difficult-to-treat infections.",[24,25],"Prosthetic Joint Infections of Hip","Bacteriophage Therapy",[27,28,29],"Bacteriophage","Periprosthetic joint infection","Phage therapy","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-03-04",{"date":33,"type":34},"2026-03-10","ACTUAL",{"date":36,"type":17},"2026-03",{"date":38,"type":17},"2027-03",{"name":40,"class":41},"University of Calgary","OTHER",{"id":43,"slug":4,"hasResults":10,"nctId":44,"briefTitle":45,"officialTitle":46,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":47,"healthyVolunteers":10,"sex":48,"minAge":49,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":50,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":18,"phases":51,"briefSummary":52,"conditions":53,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":30,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":56,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":57,"startDateStruct":59,"completionDateStruct":61,"leadSponsor":63,"locationsCount":4},"100625940","NCT07429162","Bacteriophage for Chronic Multidrug-Resistant Mycobacterium Abscessus Subsp.
