The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\nIs there a difference in blood loss during surgery between the two techniques?\n\nIs there a difference in the duration required for wound healing between the two techniques?\n\nResearchers will compare the Incision \\& Drainage group to the Saucerization group (both followed by Vacuum Assisted Closure) to see which technique results in better outcomes.\n\nParticipants will:\n\nBe randomly assigned to one of the two surgical groups.\n\nReceive their assigned surgical procedure (either cruciate incision \\& drainage or saucerization).\n\nReceive post-operative Vacuum Assisted Closure (VAC) therapy.\n\nHave their wounds assessed during follow-up visits every 14 days until healed.",[25],"Carbuncle","RECRUITING","2026-02-17",{"date":29,"type":30},"2026-02-23","ACTUAL",{"date":32,"type":30},"2026-01-02",{"date":34,"type":19},"2026-03-01",{"name":36,"class":37},"King Edward Medical University","OTHER",""]
