Health Ahead Comparative Effectiveness Study

The Health Ahead Comparative Effectiveness Study is a pragmatic, parallel-arm interventional platform that systematically compares successive changes to preventive health screening - each isolated as a single variable against current practice - on the path toward a fully automated screening system deployable in any environment, including the most isolated and resource-limited communities. Each comparison is evaluated with a common set of engagement, behavior-change, experience, cost, and longitudinal outcome measures, allowing results to accumulate on a consistent yardstick across the life of the platform. The first comparison evaluates static versus interactive personalized health report delivery. Subsequent pre-planned comparisons, added by protocol amendment, evaluate mobile community versus fixed laboratory screening; and a hybrid medical-droid plus human-delivery model versus human-only screening. All participants are simultaneously enrolled in the 100-Year Human Aging Study and the Human Observatory Study, contributing individual longitudinal and population-level causal inference data through those protocols.

Healthrelated Quality of Life and Experiences of a Heart Rehabilitation Programme After Care for Infective Endocarditis.

How does health develop after Infective endocarditis (IE)? Can the health of patients with IE be improved by participation in the physical exercise training within cardiac rehabilitation program? Participants will: * Answer digitally surveys on the perceived health for 4 times during 1 year * Participate in interviews on patient's experiences of health and rehabilitation 1 time before and 2 times after the training program during I year. * Be physically evaluated by a physiotherapist before and after the progam of physical exercise training within cardiac rehabilitation. * Do individual exercises in a group led by a physiotherapist 2 times weekly during 12 weeks.

TCM Therapy Program Impact on Breast Cancer Patients' Vital Energy

The goal of this study is to evaluate the impact of the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapy Program for Reinforcing Vital Energy" on patients with breast cancer who are currently undergoing conventional Western medical treatments in Taiwan. The main questions it aims to answer are: Can the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapy Program" alleviate symptoms experienced by breast cancer patients? Does the program improve the quality of life for breast cancer patients receiving Western medical treatments? How does the program contribute to the management of side effects associated with Western oncological therapies? Participants will: Engage in the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapy Program for Reinforcing Vital Energy" provided by the Taiwan Compassionate Cancer Care Association. Receive supportive and educational services, including auxiliary Chinese medicine treatment courses, lifestyle and health education, and psychological counseling. This study seeks to integrate the concept of holistic healthcare, emphasizing coordinated care that encompasses physical, mental, and social aspects, into the treatment of breast cancer.

Clean Hands Accessible and Manageable for Patients (CHAMPs)

This study proposes the novel use of a bedrail-affixed technology-based patient hand hygiene system with verbal and visual reminders to improve hospitalized older adults' self-management of hand hygiene practice, which in return reduces harmful germs found on older adult's hands that lead to infections.

Promoting Children's Participation in Conventional X-ray Examinations

The goal of this explorative observational study is to map the procedure and child centered approach in the examination for children that undergo conventional X-ray examinations. The main questions aim to answer: * How many images need to be retaken during conventional X-ray examinations? * What is the reason why the pictures need to be redone? * What is the time required for the various examinations? * What experience of the procedure of the examination is there among those involved? * Can the physical impact be observed through variation in heart rate in children that undergo conventional X-ray examinations? Participants will answer questionnaires about the children's participation in the procedure and the variation in heart rate will be measured on the children who undergo the examinations.

French National Cohort of People With Type 1 Diabetes

Cardiovascular (CV) diseases are the most frequent type 1 diabetes (T1D) complications. A recent epidemiological study showed that patients with T1D have a two-fold CV mortality risk, even in case of good glycemic control. In addition, it has been shown that patients with T1D with no traditional CV risk factors had about a 80% higher risk of cardiovascular event compared to non-diabetic individuals. This indicates that further modifiable risk factors in relation to CV mortality remain to be identified. One of the candidates that could help to disentangle the factors associated with the increased CV mortality in T1D patients is glycemic variability which could contribute to diabetes complications. Indeed, severe hypoglycaemia, one of the most severe consequence of glycaemic variability, are associated with a higher mortality in patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. In order to evaluate the relation between glycemic variability, insulin therapy modalities and CV risk as well as some other questions related to health determinants of T1D, we are building up a large observational, prospective, multi-centric cohort study of patients gathering 15,000 patients with T1D, age above 6 years old, to perform the following: * Collecting clinical information * Evaluating Glycemic variability (assessed by the coefficient of variation of glucose (CV) calculated from automatically downloaded continuous glucose monitoring data (CGM) * Biobanking including plasma, DNA, urine, saliva and hair. * Collecting patients' reported outcomes through auto-questionnaires (online questionnaires). * Doing an active follow-up for a period of 10 years with an intermediate visit every 3 years. * Passive follow-up: link to national Health data system (Système National de Données de Santé, SNDS) in order to exhaustively collect health events as death, CV events and hospitalizations (including severe hypoglycemia).
