Effects of Breastfeeding, Virtual Reality, and Stress Ball on Pain, Anxiety, Cortisol Levels, and Comfort During Episiotomy Repair

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the effects of three different interventions-breastfeeding, using a stress ball, or wearing virtual reality (VR) goggles-on pain, anxiety, and stress during episiotomy repair (stitching) after childbirth. It also aims to examine how these methods affect a mother's comfort after the procedure. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does breastfeeding, using a stress ball, or using VR goggles lower the mother's pain and anxiety during the repair? Do these interventions reduce the mother's biological stress levels, measured by saliva cortisol tests? Do these methods lead to higher postpartum comfort levels for the mother in the first 24 hours after birth? Researcher will compare these three intervention groups to a "control group" (mothers receiving standard hospital care) to see which approach is most effective. Participants will: Be randomly assigned to one of four groups: Breastfeeding, VR Goggles, Stress Ball, or Standard Care. Use their assigned intervention throughout the entire episiotomy repair process. Provide saliva samples before and after the procedure to measure stress hormones (cortisol). Rate their pain and anxiety levels using clinical scales twice: once before the procedure begins and once immediately after it is finished. Complete a survey about their comfort levels between 6 and 24 hours after the delivery.

THE EFFECT OF REIKI ON BREASTFEEDING, PAIN AND COMFORT AFTER CESAREAN SECTION

EFFECT OF REİKİ APPLİED DURİNG THE POSTPARTUM PERİOD ON BREASTFEEDİNG, PAİN, AND COMFORT IN WOMEN WHO DELİVERED BY CESAREAN SECTİON The aim of this randomized controlled trial is to determine the effect of Reiki applied to volunteer women after cesarean section on breastfeeding, pain, and comfort in the postpartum period. The main questions it aims to answer are: Is there a difference in postpartum breastfeeding, pain, and comfort between the group receiving Reiki and the group receiving standard care? Is there a difference in postpartum breastfeeding, pain, and comfort between the group receiving Reiki and the group receiving Sham Reiki? Participants will receive Reiki six times postpartum: three times one-on-one during their hospital stay, and remotely in the second, third, and fourth weeks. The control group will receive standard care. The Sham Reiki group will receive Reiki points applied by a person without Reiki knowledge.

Comparison of Outpatient Rehabilitation Versus Self-training for the Treatment and Prevention of Postpartum Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

The main goal of this study to compare self-training postpartum and training with a specialist support (physiotherapist and physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor) effect on pelvic floor dysfunction prevention and treatment in postpartum period. Hypothesis: The implementation of postpartum rehabilitation helps to alleviate existing symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction and prevents pelvic floor dysfunction. Study goals: * To objectively evaluate changes in pelvic organ position and pelvic floor muscle function in postpartum period, before and after specialised rehabilitation program * To objectively evaluate pelvic floor symptoms and their influence on woman life quality * To compare data (changes in pelvic floor muscle coordination and strength, pelvic organ position and changes in life quality according to validated questionnaires) Study participants will: * Get an examination by obstetrician-gynaecologist, physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor and physiotherapist in 6 to 10 weeks postpartum period. * One group of participants will attend physiotherapy, biofeedback and electro stimulation procedures with a guidance of a specialist. * Other group of participants gets a recommendations and instructions of training and self-trains at home. To remind of training and help record training time "squeezy" app (an application designed for a mobile device) will be offered. * All groups of participants will be asked to fill life quality related questionnaires: (ICIQ-UI SF: International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire; P-QoL: Prolapse Quality-of-Life Questionnaire; PISQ-IR: Pelvic Organ Prolapse/ Urinary Incontinence Sexual Questionnaire IUGA revised; FSFI: female sexual function index; MOS-SF36 Medical Outcomes Study Short Form-36).

Post-cesarean Analgesia: Comparing Effectiveness of Staggered v. Simultaneous Therapies

Cesarean delivery is a commonly performed surgical procedure associated with worse postpartum pain when compared to vaginal birth. Uncontrolled postpartum pain is associated with increased neonatal and maternal risks. Multimodal non-opioid pain medications, including acetaminophen and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the preferred first-line therapies. There is no standard practice, however, on best dosing schedules (ie staggered or different time v. simultaneous or same time). This protocol describes a randomized clinical trial aimed to determine whether staggered dosing of acetaminophen and NSAIDs in superior to simultaneous dosing in controlling post-cesarean pain.
